Destiny 2 Materials and Glimmer Farming Guide

This is a simple guide to show you, how to farm the various planetary materials. They are mostly used for infusing / upgrading and also exchanging them gear with the vendors at each. Opening a cache will also reward you glimmer so keep on grinding.

• EDZ combo detector – Cordial Diamond Shell
• IO combo detector – Mansanas Shell
• Nessus combo detector – Chevron Shell
• Titan combo detector – Eyeball Shell
• Mercury combo detector – Commanding Star Shell
• Mars combo detector – Painted Eye Shell
• Tangled Shore combo detector – Wisteria Orbit Shell also the Blue Sky Shell and Triangle Shell
• Dreaming City combo detector – Starlight Shell

Dusklight Shards

Follow this route

Use any ghost with the EDZ combo detector perk to optimize every run.

Legendary shards

Now that you have collected so many materials you can use them to level up each vendor.

The vendor every time you level up you get legendary gear, legendary shards and a shader.

You can also dismantle the legendary gear/any legendary gear, if you choose to and get additional shards.
